Reducción de la temperatura de los almacenes de medicamentos en Madre de Dios (Perú), utilizando tecnología de bajo costo

Acting within the framework of the South American Infectious Disease Initiative (SAIDI), the SIAPS Program proposed that a test be conducted to determine the benefits of using low-cost technology to reduce temperatures inside the region’s pharmacies to recommended levels. The ensuing intervention was designed to prevent the transmission of the heat produced by sunlight falling on facility roofs and walls, as well as to improve the internal flow of air.
